What sort of projact do you like to stitch,? Cute, flowers etc and what sort of size?
Re: ideas for new topic?
What about starting a new technique? Blackwork works up quickly, and there are lots of free pattens online, and can be done in any colour.
Or you could get involved in our own sampler SAL that's kicking around (Agi and others are involved in that).

Anything? hmm, makes suggestions a bit hard. Anyway, I like a challenge, so here goes:
1) If you like humungous projects, have you thought about trying a HAED? All cross stitch, and no blends, but biiigggg
2) If you want big and challenging and quite like fine art, how about a Scarlet Quince project? Invariably loads of blends to keep you occupied, but no backstitch.
3) If you like trying lots of speciality stitches or trying beading etc, have you looked at Teresa Wentzler designs, or Mirabilia or Lavender and Lace or Papillion Creations?
4) If you like samplers, you could try Sweetheart Tree
5) If you like more abstract designs you could try Chatelaine or for options to try variegated threads, InkCircles have some great designs
6) Or you could go for something a bit different to cross stitch and as Serinde suggested, try blackwork or hardanger. On hardanger, Susan's recommended the Classic Embroidery collection of hardanger tiles, available here

Why don't you do something small until you find what is really for you? Like a needlebook, an ATC or a few biscornus... you can find a lot of examples in the gallery

You could join the biscornu exchange!

Re: ideas for new topic?
What kind of things have you done before as this could give us a lead in what you may like to do in future? Could you also tell me what kind of things you definitely don't like?
