I love to write letters and exchange goodies with people from all over the world. It would be so cool to find some penpals from this site who love to do cross stitch. I think the art of letter writing is lost now because of the interent and email and messenger. I make my own cards and stationary and love to send letters to people. If you would like to exchange letters, ideas, etc, please pm me.
Thanks.
Tracy
I would love to have some penpals.

I love to get letters but I am absolutely useless at writnig back these days, but I know that quite a few of the girls on here do swap letters so I'm sure you'll get at least a couple, probably more pen pals.
I do agree the art of letter writing is dying a slow death. I used to study by correspondence for the last 4 years I was at school and had friends all over Australia I used to write to... over 50!!!
Plus I've also had two very long distance relationships, lived in the north of England for 3 year and was very poor so did not have email, mobile and had to keep phone calls back home to Australia at a minimum, which meant I was writing nearly every day.
Basically, I think all those years of constant letter writing has well and truly turned me off it. I much prefer to use my mobile, phone or keyboard these days, I think because it's instant.
I can't help still buying lovely writing sets though!! Even though the only people to get them now are ebay sellers as I post off my cheque or something!!
I would love too, I just know, I'm not a great pen pal!!

We've already swapped addresses Tracy, but I will warn you, I may take ages to send replies, just ask Whiskers12!
I work full time, have 2 kids still living at home etc etc etc. I'm on my hols for the next 2 weeks, but my 7 year old daughter broke her arm last week, so I'm spending the time that I should be catching up on my stitching and crafting going to and from hospital.
But I'll do my best!

A stitch in time is my idea of a perfect day!
