I can't remember when it was but someone here was offering their cat's cast off whiskers! She said that she saved them when the cat shed them.
Now, I've got 3 cats but they all live outside so any whiskers they lose get lost in the garden.
SO! I've nearly finished a picture of a Siamese cat and I'm have no end of trouble getting the whiskers to look right! I've tried Kreinik blending filament..ordinary thread but they look all wrong. I tried a search on the forum to see who it was but drew a blank!
If that Stitcher is still here and still has whiskers to spare can you p/m me please? No rush for this as I don't have a 'to finish' date for the Siamese cat!
Failing that if you see a Wombat armed with Large Scissors dashing through the weeds after a disappearing cat........
i did a cat picture (first page in my gallery) that says "" I dont do mornings"" and I forgot to go back and do the whiskas. I remember at the time having trouble with them and then I completly forgot and framed it It is still whiskerless...
maybe when IO posted about it someone posted about sending whiskers.
