Some Bunny - Eskimo Kiss - Finished!

Post by Fljotsdale »

Image

As I've said before, I don't like twee, but Somebunny really appeals to me in spite of my prejudice! I think it's mainly because of the skillful use of colours; they are not glaring, bright, and in-your-face, but softer, subtley shaded colours, so that although the design is quite simple the whole thing is pleasing to the eye.
Anyway - cos I can't sit for long in front of the floor frame doing my mom's tapestry (see all other crafts if interested), I have started this to have something to do in between tapestry sessions. It's for my ex-DIL's little girl, who is about 15mths old. And I love yellow.

This what I did today:

Light isn't very good, I'm afraid. The aida is actually white! There are 11 colours in that litle bit. :)

Great start on such an adorable design! Love the colors and I tend to like a lot of the somebunny charts as they are nicely designed. I do hope you enjoy stitching this up and definitely look forward to your updates on it

I'm with you -- don't like cutesy but find Some Bunny more 'acceptable'. Great start! :bunny:

Fair bit of the girl bunny's dress done. This is going more slowly than I thought it would.
The thread is quite shiny; that isn't gaps between stitches, it's the shine of the thread!
