Rosey, have you inspected this kit closely?
I was given one of this brand and the chart is doable regardless of the fact they are in chinese. The only problem i found with the one given to me was the pattern was on high gloss paper so was complete rubbish when i tried to enlarge it to photocopy.
You just need to match the symbol to the thread colour which should be marked on the thread sorter or the chart and just use 14 count fabric instead of 11 count it came with.
It would probably be much cheaper for you to just replace the fabric. Only the size will change. On 14 count the size will be smaller by a few inches. cant think to calculate it exactly at the moment.

Re: Cross Stitch chart wanted for Cross Stitch Kit
If I am reading the front correctly it says the grid is 140X320 so that would mean that finished pattern would be 10 inches by 22.85 inches. That is just the stitched area so then you nee to decide how much more you want to add. Will you be framing this??? Will you be making a hanging out of it??? This will determine how much extra you will add to the sides.
Say you want to frame it when done...usually you would add 3 inches to all sides so then the fabric piece you would need would be 16X28.85.

Re: Cross Stitch chart wanted for Cross Stitch Kit
rosey, i wish you the best of luck. I actually ended up chucking mine out because the high gloss paper is impossible to photocopy and see, however, you may have more luck than me. Also, I never had a scanner at the time, maybe scanning it might help.
If you bought the kit, might i suggest your steer clear from these kits in the future because although they can be cheap, they are not worth the hassle in the long run...you will spend the money you save on headache medicine. Chances are, it is a ""knock off"" of a more expensive brand and if you put the description into google, you just might find the real deal. It''s a learning experience.
I ended up using the cottons and fabric in the kit i had for cards ect, small stuff.
Rose has calculated fabric for you, that sounds correct to me.
