Re: We’re Back
Cindy, there’s also a group (Cross Stitch Forum Facebook group) where updates were being posted. It seems the group moderator is no longer active so new members can’t be added but you can read the updates without being a member.

It’s been a while and the first pair of socks is done, and the second is well on it’s way!

I stopped frantically checking a while ago! Couldn’t subscribe to the FB updates either as I’m not a member of the group! Very glad we’re back!

Love that owl! Would be great to see the pebble and card side by side, I like the idea of pebble painting and owls are just irresistible!

KarinvdB’s crafty corner
Ever since I was a child I’ve hopped around from one craft to another. My attention span for one craft is never too long.
Now that I’m dealing with stress and anxiety I find comfort in crafts but do struggle a little finding what works for me on a day to day basis.
So here I’ll post what I’m doing ...

Agree on the smile those cuties deliver! Such lovely fabric and very well done! I admire quilters, it’s one craft I daren’t venture into because I wouldn’t have the patience for it. Thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous colors Mabel! Do you have any ideas for them? I’m seeing mandala’s but maybe that’s just me having my coloring books on my mind.

Re: HAED Mini Moonlighting - new start May 19
I’ve actually got a small update on this. While stitching a new small project I realized that it was 18 count crosses I was doing which is the same as this project. So that got me itching to try it again. It’s been very slow going but I finished a row at least.

Update time!
I finished the lighthouse and the rest of the upper part. I was starting to turn the yellow half crosses of the border into full crosses but I decided I preferred the half crosses.

Re: HAED sales?
Are you on the mailing list? What design are you looking at?
I’m not anymore but I’ll sign up then and be patient for a sale to come along.
The design is “Evening†by Leonid Amfremov. I think I’ll do the mini as I’d go way too slow to face the full size.

HAED sales?
Ladies I have a quick question. I remember back in the day I started here (2013) HAED would have a sale on a regular basis (basically any holiday, like easter, Father’s Day, ....). I didn’t see anything for Easter this time and it doesn’t seem to be mentioned here either. Have those sales stopped ...

Beautiful work! Love that my country gave you the inspiration and permission
In turn you’re inspiring me with your use of the hoop to frame it, I really like that idea.

KarinvdB’s 2 sets of 3 - 2019 - update April 30 ‘19
As I mentioned in my reintroduction topic in the Welcome forum, I was looking for something simple to stitch. I went to a local craft store that sells cross stitch kits and found two sets of 3 designs that I really liked. They are both Vervaco kits on 18 count Aida, each design is 8 x 12cm (3.2†x ...

Back stitching ;)
Hi all!
You probably don’t remember me (much). I was quite active here for a while in 2013 when I caught the stitching bug. I did a few small pieces and then got sucked into the HAED world but unfortunately my shoulder wasn’t too happy with me when I started working on small stitches. So my ...

My temari
Temari is a japanese craft which involves wrapping a ball in thin thread (with various layers underneath, I wrap around styrofoam balls, most instructions tell you to use yarn first for a soft base though) onto which you embroider geomatric patterns.
