Very cute! I don't comment much, but I've been watching the progression of this one and wanted to say very nice.

Re: Amazing haul!!!!!!

Wow what a wonderful find.

I don't know what the gadget could be as far as cross stitch is concerned, but it looks like a double pointed needle holder for socks in progress like this: http://www.knitzi.com" target="_blank

Re: My first biscornu!! (pic heavy)

That's so cool. I didn't know what a biscornu was till I looked it up. Never heard of it before then again I'm not that deep into the sewing arts as many are. I looked it up and leaned something new today. Ha.... not a wasted day after all.

A biscornu is a small, 8-sided, stuffed ornamental ...

That's lovely! If you don't mind my asking, what is a biscornu? Is it a really pretty pin cushion, or decoration, or...?

Re: 2014 Christmas Ornament SAL - Come join in!!

I'd like to join in here. I've committed to so many big projects lately, it will be nice to actually have a finish once in a while. Plus I have like six or more christmas cross stitch mags I've never used... It just doesn't occur to me NOT to buy them, until I've left the store.

That's beautiful! You must be a quick stitcher, no way I could make so much progress so fast!

Re: Hi from rainy WA

Thank you again. Sorry it took a couple days to take pictures. I've taken pictures of most projects actively being worked on, and a couple hibernating. I have two more; one that may be abandoned, and one I'm using as incentive to finish the Christmas sampler. :) should I post them here or somewhere ...

I apologize for so many errors in my last post. Autocorrect bit me, and I forgot to proofread.

Re: Hi from rainy WA

Thanks everyone. I haven't been stitching long enough to really have a niche yet. I'm pretty sure I'm not a sampler girl though  , I have one that I've been working on nice December that I'd like to hide in my closet. Otherwise I've started two from HAED, (I don't like fairies, or fantasy ...

Hi from rainy WA

Hi,
I'm a homeschooling mom of 5, relatively new to cross stitching. I've knit, spun, woven and more, but only got into stitching since my youngest was born....so basically when I had less time than ever before :? . As with my knitting I start new projects when life gets really stressful, but ...
