I've been neglecting my stitching... Won't be done with my ATC for at least a week... sorry...

I've been using the same Piecemakers' Tapestry needle, size 28 for the past five months! Hasn't broken on me yet... I think it might be a bad batch of needles...

I find that having an extra 2" or 3" on all sides is a good bet. Anything under 2" is extremely difficult to frame. 1.5" is an okay allowance if you plan to convert your needlework into a cushion. Personally, I favour a 2.5" allowance on all sides for my projects. Hope this helped. :rose:

Well, I wanted deep blue fabric with some bling quality to it... I guess hand-dyed would do the job. I'll look around some more. I did have a question. What exactly is "Crystal Aida"? I came across it when browsing "Picture this Plus". I've only ever used regular Aida.
