The usual: get fitter! :? :D
And be more organised (so as to leave additional time for stitching and other crafts).

Yeah the usual also...well need to drop the 7 or 8 pounds I managed to gain in the last 3 months and then I need to get back to my walking. I always wear a pedometer and was walking at least 10,000 steps a day but I slacked off of that a few months ago. I'm also going to finish at least one cross stitch project this year! :D

Last year I did pretty good with New Year's Stitching Resolutions but this year I just can't get my head around what I want to do. Maybe once things get after the first I will have a better idea of what I want to do.

Didn't have any this year to keep/break. Last year's was not to buy a handbag for a year (I kept it too, got one for my birthday but that was a gift and didn't count).

This year, hmmm. Lose weight (how many of us are saying that? How dull that we all feel this way - perhaps we should do it together for support?). Perhaps it should be to stop buying charts and actually stitch some of them in my stash!!

Oh I forgot I also want to try different types of stitchy things, more variety of materials, threads etc, as I always do framed pics.
Most of my stitching has been given away as wedding and baby samplers so I tend to stick with what I am more confident with even if it is a bit boring

Like nearly everyone, I'm afraid a diet is on my list :( About half a stone would be great - although I haven't weighed myself since before Christmas, so it's probably nearer a stone by now!! (I have to admit, I'm sitting typing this with a chocolate in my mouth and another waiting to be next :D ) I'd also like to get a bike and start cycling with my husband.

On the stitching side, I'd like to try some new techniques. I got a book on drawn thread work for Christmas and would like to try this. I've also joined a yahoo stitching group Friendly Stitchers which has a year long mystery garden sampler, so I'd like to try to complete this each week - it's only a little square each week so shouldn't be too bad

Oh and I nearly forgot, I'd like to finally reach my 1,000 post as so many of you have caught up and overtaken me

Eat better, but not to lose weight, I often have quick meals if I am busy at work, or if everyone is out when I get home.

Encourage my Sons to move out, they are 24 in February, time to move on
(I love them to bits really)

Give the garden a big haircut, some of the trees and shrubs have gone crazy with 2 years of heavy rain.

buy more stash

buy even more stash

buy back up stash, just incase I run out

I want to lose weight and stop my addiction to chocolate! Well, i dont WANT to but i should :) Today i went food shopping and found myself in the chocolate section . I turned around and went to the cheese area and bought a package of string cheese! This year i vow to walk on the tredmill at least an hour a day... Oh Grub, i had anxiety attacks almost every day for 15 years. I was too embarrased to go to the drs. about it. Then i got married and had one on my honeymoon but that was the last one i ever had. (18 years ago)I feel that my husband made me feel protected and they simply dissapeared. Good luck with that. My wish for the new year is that our country(U.S.) will be set on a positive, new path :)

Ermmm...where shall i start??

Sorry guys, but i'm with you on the losing weight front. Would like to lose a stone but it seems to be getting harder now as I get older :(

Get better - going to ME helpgroups at beginning of year, so I'm hoping they will help me cope/manage with my illness

Get fitter - BF brought me a bike for chrimbo and got a trampoline from parents, so I'm going to try and do some exercise (without overdoing it) but hopefully the helpgroup will advise me on that too.

Get back to work fulltime

Eat better - Need to make sure I eat my 5 a day!

Stop smoking! Only started 2 years ago (at 27) so there is no excuse!

Drink less - the vino is going down a bit too easily these days

Pay Debts - finished paying off my loan, and now need to pay my dad off what I owe him!

Spend more time with my friends and family.

Phew - think that's it!! Ha ha! Bet your sorry you asked
Nic x
