Lisa --I know what you mean! HAED is such an addiction. I think I probably own about 5 or 6 charts and I've got a lot on my wish list. I doubt I will ever go back to stitching anything else..just probably will never have enough time to stitch all the charts I want to.

I've only just seen this one. Thats a fabulous picture and I can't believe there is a HAED with only 14 colours! Great progress I look forward to seeing more of this one.
Okay I will have a progress pic tomorrow..was going to take one this morning but the battery on my cell phone was dead! I really wanted to wait to finish page 1 but still got about 25 rows more to go so that could take at least another week!

Only just seen this thread, sorry. The finished picture is gorgeous. I've been tempted by HAEDs since joining this forum, especially when I heard they work in tent stitch. You're doing full crosses though?! Not sure I could handle THAT much work! You have my total admiration. Cant wait to see the next pic!
Sorry I am so late on getting that picture up..I had planned on stitching some this week and then realized I was majorly behind on my walking this month (i track all my steps every month and try to just average a little more than the month before) so I've been walking for 2 to 3 hours every night to catch up and stitching unfortunately is sitting on the back burner at least for this week.

How did I miss this thread? I adore this picture! I just got my first HAED pattern today (Julie Fain's Fairy Sisters) and I want to start it but I'm in the middle of something else! That website is addictive, I need to stay off there.
oh oh I love Fairy sisters too! I love all of Julie Fain's stuff. I also have celestial night and the dreamer and who knows when I will have time to stitch it all. You are going to have to put up a SAL so we can see you stitch fairy sisters! oh I can't wait!
Catch a falling star is having a temporary break until I get back from vacation in a week but then back to stitching and back to some updates!

Okay I finally have an update for you! I'm still not done with page 1 but am getting there.
and here's one of the entire fabric..yes it's going to be enormous!
Oh and what's really cool is when i went onto my flickr page today, I noticed that someone had left me a comment on my first WIP pic of catch a falling star and it was none other than Julie Fain herself (the artist of this piece). She was excited to see someone stitching her work which is really cool. It makes me want to stitch this even more now!
