I've only just spotted this one looks fabulous I am considering doing an afghan soon as babies are being planned in my family (not me I hasten to add) and this would be a really special gift!

I have managed to do some more work, picture taken of work done to last night.

I have worked out that it takes on average a month to stitch 5 squares. At the end of this month I will have completed 50% (15 squares), so have the other half to go which on my maths takes me to end of October. Esther christning is the begining of October (provisionaly) so it won't get fineshed in time.
My dilema do I take it up and show what I have done and then bring it back to finish or just say there is a gift to come?
