Jilly I just looked at your 'bed' again, you have fabulous taste. Who is Billy? Don't think I have heard of that one?
Socialsue, you have done so well to get your BOINK finished, I know I have 'blank times but please help me out - what is a BOINK? What ever it is your finished piece will make a beautiful cushion
Happy Stitching

Well done on your finish, Sue, great work!
Jilly, what a load of gorgeous designs - I particularly love the Native American ones, they're one of my favourite subjects.
I'm just the same in that I have lots of finished projects all put away and begging to be framed and hung on the wall! Maybe I should add a pledge to do something mine each UFO week, when I've finished stitching my UFO. I can try framing the smaller designs myself - in fact I even bought some mounting card and a frame about two months ago for one of my projects and it's still lying around unused! I need a good
as well in that regard!

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
Ooh, it's nearly UFO time again! Everyone ready to get started again tomorrow?
I haven't got a huge amount of actual cross stitch left to do on my Celestial Heaven so I'm hoping that I'll finish it this time - then I just have miles and miles or backstitch to do in next month's UFO week. You'll all have to
me to make me finish that - I don't mind backstitch too much, but there is absolutely loads of it on this and all different colours as well, a lot of which is difficult to differentiate on the chart.

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
Oh I've just found this thread and it's been a real treat to read it all. Well done all of you who worked on their UFO's last month and managed to get so much done
I'm so glad I've found this today as it looks like tomorrow it will all start again and I'll be able to join in!!!! I had a huge clearout recently as we're about to move house and I found a lot of old cross stitch kits not touched in the last ten years. So I've got several UFO's I could start again. Must go and decide which one now so I'm ready to start tomorrow

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
I'll be working on the wedding favur micro biscornu for my friend's wedding. I've finished four of them so far and need a total of 25 before the end of the month. They are stitched on 16-count antique white Aida in Anchor 101 (deep purple) and each face is only 1-inch-square, so they're really fiddly and a bit of a pain to put together. As a result I'll only be doing two or three per evening as it's all my poor fingers can take before seizing up!
Here are the first four completed for my "start of the week" picture:

The other project I'll be working on is the wedding sampler for the same wedding (same project I worked on last month). Here's where I left off last UFO week:

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
I'm off work from tomorrow-9th Aug, I will dust down Snow White again and have a go at finishing all the remaining confetti on Page 1 & maybe get started on the bits left on page 2, but don't want to leave Queenie out considering I'm off for a whole week!
I'm also waiting for some 32ct in the post (never tried higher than 28ct before, but maybe not so much difference...?) and have ordered 100 skeins of DMC from Katz X-Stitch, so I may be mostly test-stitching and bobbin-winding!

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
Oh yay! I'll be able to do some work on my TW Fantasy sampler again. Only did 1 thread last month as I went on holiday, but might be able to complete the square this time round.
Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
I thought I was going to get to join this time but the pattern I was changing still is not done since most of this month was dedicated to enjoying my time with my son and so stitching stuff was put on hold and sent to the back of my mind. With any luck next month will see me joining in.

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
I'm at a toss up right now...I do want to get a little done on Chessie this next week since it is UFO week...but I feel like I am on a role right now with Catch a Falling star and I really want to keep stitching it. The OH has to work both Saturday and Sunday evening so maybe I will work on both this weekend and see if I can at least make a little progress on Chessie since I am a tad ahead of schedule on Catch A Falling Star (goal was to finish 7 pages by the end of the year..on pace to finish those at the end of November). What to do?

Re: UFO Club (1st - 7th every month)
I worked on my Mother project last month. If I worked on it again this month I could finish it. Although I probably won't give it as a gift until Mother's day next year.
I might do that or I could work on the backstitching for my Trio of Bears. I haven't worked on that since February and I could finish that one as well. That one I could give as a Christmas gift.
Or I could pull out my Wreath for all Seasons and work on that one. I'm paranoid that I've miscounted somewhere on my two sides and when they join up they won't match. I could work on it just to join those sides and put my mind at ease.
So many UFOs to choose from.

In the last couple of days I've really got back into Trixie.Got fed up doing black so did some other things, then decided to finish off her face.
Being that it will be UFO week i want to finish off the back stitch to a Tatty Ted and back stitch Footprints In The sand and do some of that dreaded Castle.
