Okay I just sat here and stared at page 2 of Chessie for a good while and decided I will go ahead and stitch it. It made me actually want to stitch it just looking at the chart. So this is where I left off wayyyy back in January.
I'm thinking I can make a bit of a dent into page 2 as there are quite a few stitches of similar colors. Will probably leave the masses of confetti stitching for the September UFO week.

So I'm joining in this month too and hoping that it will encourage me to get some projects finished
I found this All Our Yesterdays kit that I must have started at least 12 years ago - I haven't worked on it since we moved to the house we're in now! Here's a photo of how it should look:

It`s great to be part of something like this to get me motivated on working on my WIPs.
I have just the one picture posted in my gallery at the moment because I`m new to all this, but it is a project I want to finish this week and I think it will be possible now.
Wow, what a lot of people we have joining in this month! It'll be great seeing everyone's progress pictures.
I did a little bit of cross stitch on mine yesterday and then for some reason my neck locked up and was very painful, so looking up and down and across from fabric to chart was horrible. So I decided to do the backstitch instead as there is absolutely miles of it. There are some areas where once you start it just goes on and on ....and on....and on without the need for looking at the chart, so I can hold the fabric up in front of my face where my neck is most comfortable and not move my head. I managed to get quite a bit of the dreaded BS done as well! Looks like I might get a good portion of the lot done if I persevere with it this week and it's making the design look fab!
CURRENT WIPs
HAEDs - Bubble Telescope, Floatilla, Rainbow Embrace, Ray of Light, Iron Dragon, Newport Lighthouse
Fractal 239 Aero Chocolate
I have about twenty stitches left on the ear of the final horse and then the backstitch with Steve out today I should be able to finish it. I am first of all going to dig around for another one to do just in case I do finish it!
Today i finished UFO seashell treasures. I have just washed it and will be going to the framers tomorrow so shall post the finished work in my gallery. Currently there is a picture of it almost completed!
My next UFO to tackle is the pelican picture..also in my gallery. That, I hope to finish by the end of this week as I am off work all week so no excuses as I have no commitments...totally me time this week.
i have two other UFO's - a teddy which is very small- free one with a magazine and a few stitches and outligning in another picture...both combined can easily be done in a day so by Sunday I plan to have NO UFO's!
I have already made a list of my next 4 I want to do..
Well done Barb and Nettie on your finishes! I put together FOUR of the tiny biscornu favours tonight and my fingers are now aching like crazy (so please excuse any typos!). That's 8 done and 16 to go! After that I can get onto the wedding sampler too...
