What a wonderful time you both had! York is a fantastic city and I'm sure that despite the rain you were able to show it off to it's best advantage.(despite the rain :D )

I bet that you were the happiest drowned rats in Yorkshire!! The Viking Loom's a fantastic shop, all those little rooms to explore! How did it compare with Hungarian shops I wonder?

Look forward to those photos!

It is brilliant that you were able to see each other after meeting here through a shared love of needlework. It sounds as if you both had a wonderful time :D

Hi, everyone!

I am using my landlady`s computer for a few minutes, so not much time. Just wanted to let you all know that we had a wonderful time in York with Midge, and I will try to upload the photo later. Thank you, Midge, for the detailed report :) I was so happy to be able to meet you!
I am in Dunfermline, Scotland now, and it is a wonderful place. I am staying with a very nice family, the weather is quite OK so far, the course started really well and the other teachers taking part are a lovely bunch of people...
So eveything is relly great, I am anjoying myself. have done a bit of stitching too, and bought some stash in the Dunfermline High Street LNS :) Of course
Will try and write more later. Love to all, and behave yourselves :D

Guess what! I'm meeting up with Agi in Glasgow tomorrow afternoon. How exciting is that! If anyone else is in the area: 2.30pm at the Scott Monument by the City Chambers in George Square.

To my uncertain knowledge, no one will be wearing a red rose... 8)
