I understand the feeling. I had bought the kit for Kailey's stocking when I was pregnant with her. I don't think it was actually finished until her 3rd Christmas (she was 2). They don't know any different for the first couple of Christmases.

I love stitching this but I do admit I hate the threads not being ready sorted and also I am finding that the floss is inclined to tangle and fluff up more than my usual threads which are DMC.
Here is an update after a week, there will be loads of backstitch especially round the tree branches. I am ahead of my target but don't expect to get anywhere near as much done this week once my son comes home from hospital
This is an adorable design, I like the lights-effect threads get when used on dark Aida, I'll check on your progress!

It seems like it is taking me forever to do this one for my son. I started it last November (I think) and just finished the cross stitching today. I still have the backstitching to do.
