glad for this ufo thread, it kicked my butt and I picked up my summer fae for a bit. Was frustrated since :anotherfrog: was waiting for me, but I have most of it repaired. I swear never again on 32 ct, I can't work on it for more than 30 minutes at a time. I'll post a pic in a few days.

Midge~ That is really cute!!!

I JUST finished the stocking I was doing for my son tonight. It was a WIP, not quite a UFO since I didn't really ever put it down. Just took way longer on it than I planned. But come Sunday I am going to pick up my daughter's princesses and try to at least really work on them the last two days of this and maybe go on to finish them afterwards. I'd work on them tomorrow and Saturday but I have a Regatta that I am going to this weekend. I entered my ship in it!!

I finished Bold Blooms last night - hurrah! Not sure what I'll do with it just yet, but I'm sure something will come to me...
Image

So, for the remainer of UFO week, I'll go back to my ABC Baby Afghan for Xander. Her's where I left off early last month:

Overview
ABC partially completed
Image

Close-ups
A is for Apple (without backstitch)
Image

B is for Balloon (without the balloon)
Image

C is for Crayon (with partial crayon)
Image

And the reverse of the stitching (I'm trying to keep it as neat as possible, which is made easier by it all being in blocks of colour!)

Yay for the Bold Blooms -- it's a lovely design; small enough for a birthday card perhaps?
Good luck with the ABC!

Did some more BoInk last night, fastened on a new thread, finished it and did some with a second new thread, then realised I'd started the first thread one square out and not a chance of making it work. So had to :ribbit: right back to the beginning of the first thread and do it all over again. *grumble mutter* Even so I got a fair bit of border done, so hurray for that :-)

Well done, Kell! :applesauce: :applesauce:

Poor Mabel, though

I have to admit, I was cheating a bit. I planned to do Blackstone Fantasy Garden this week but I only had a little to do on my fist panel in the Nature project, so I finished that first.

So I only started BFG last night - with not much of a progress. Too much work this week and too little time for stitching :( But now that I got back to it, I won't put it down for a while, I think. I only have these two on the go at the moment, anyway.
:thinks: :thinks: - a friend has just had a baby... and the fairies... No, it is not true that I only have these two...

The panel is lovely, Agi, and what with framing it with others I don't think it needs a border, it's quite complete in itself!

As we still have two and a half days of UFO week, I'm going to make Trojan my next UFO as it's been going on for months and months, so I'll do that until Monday night.

I'm sorry I haven't joined in this week. I just can't seem to settle to my stitching at the moment for any of my projects! Great progress for you all tho its looking really great. I doubt I will be able to join you next month either as I may not have an internet connection as my house is only a few weeks away from being finished!

Well done to you all!!
I fully meant to join in with this again this month, but to be honest, I've been so taken up with stuff going on here right now, I haven't been able to do a single stitch on anything!
Hopefully I'll be able to get back to it pretty soon.

Well done, Sarah, it is fantastic, so good you finished it at last! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Nettie and Threadbear, I am sorry you couldn't find time for stitching. I hope you will, though, soon. You need it, you know - and we need pictures :D

Sarah - great job - I bet you feel fantastic having it finished.

The UFO forum inspired me to finish Firefly Fairies in August - I had been putting off the last 1-2 hours. I stitched this for my 5 year old niece - I hope she loves it as she gets older. Just got back from the framer - sorry about the picture quality - the glass seems to reflect everything - I finally thought I got a good shot - and then I looked at it again - there is the reflection of the flash in the skirt of the green fairy.

Thank you everyone for th inspiration - I love looking at all of your stitching. I'm currently working on my angel WIP - to complete by X-Mas - but will join in the UFO in a couple of months.

I finished "D" last night and am about half way through "E" now. I'll get "E" finished and perhaps push into "F" by the end of UFO week with any luck - then I'll post my pics. :)

Well, Trojan has become my new UFO now and I've managed to finish the page of the chart I was working on today! There are two more full pages and two half pages left to do. I'll continue with it in October's UFO week.

I'm sticking with King Tut until I've finished it, as I did the Peacock. I'm hoping it's done by weekend.
