Oh, it's turned out so beautifully! You could always stitch the poem on another piece of fabric and use a small decorative border of poppies to go along side it, then have them framed together...

The idea of side by side sounds a winner to me. This will be so pleasant to look at on a wall. Well done Rose.

Rose this is just gorgeous, I can see why you don't want to do the poem over the top of it! But the side by side ideas that have been offered sound like a very good alternative

Ooh they're finished!!!! They look beautiful :applesauce: And you're certainly right about not wanting to stitch the poem over them. Hope you come up with another solution.

Thanks everyone, it was quite big to stitch the finish is 16X16. So it was rather large and there is quite a lot of confetti that are half stitches in the bottom section so for any that are wanting to do this it is a great stitch but count, count, count when skipping stitches. I had a few moments of ggggrrrrr :x when not having counted properly.

I would have stitched the poem but I ant to give it for Christmas and with the other gifts yet to stitch I am just going to print the poem.
