I had to go back to page 5 to find this, I hadn't realised it was so long since I last posted. Update as of today, I gave up on doing the whole of a square before moving on. The little pictures take an age to complete so decided to do them all at once and then go back and complete the boxes and lettering afterwards. (sorry about quality of picture, camera problems........allthough it could well be operator error)

Only one more picture to go, then finishing of boxes.

Well at long last and two deadlines passed, I finally got my afghan fineshed. I custamised the two bottom squares to give it a personal touch. As it was so late I have made it into a hanging for Esther's wall.
When the stitching was fineshed and washed I backed the whole thing with iron on interface to give it a bit of stiffness. The material for the boarder/back is a bluey grey colour, but it has swirls of purple, green, pink going thorugh it as well, I don't think you can see them that well on the picture.

This was in Cross Stitch Gold magazine over 2 issues. I will get the designers name from the magazine when I get home tonight.
