You'd be surprised - they're much easier than they look. Give it a go - you know you want to really! I can pretty much guarantee you'll be hooked after the first one! I think biscornu might actually be the stitchers' equivalent to heroin!
its fab!! I've never done one either?! looks interesting....... does anyone know where I could find the instructions for one?? I might consider giving one a go?!
But if you just google "biscornu tutorial" you will find many more... I find this is easy to follow - and after the first one you won't need any instructions, anyway It is very simple.

As for the question what biscornus are for I think they exist for the same reason that the duck-billed platypus does...
seriously, you can use them as pincushions, lavender sachets, Christmas tree ornaments, or if you make a VERY BIG ONE, a footstool, but I think they just are

Thanks!! I had a look and have now decided to give one a bash after I finish some other projects looks simple enough.....(famous last words ) *goes to scour the internet for a freebie biscornu pattern*
First of all thanks for all the kind words, it was my first and now yes i do want to another one but not just yet.
Charmed, any patten will do as long as its the same size and you have to do 2 but not the same patten ,,you can if you want its up to you.
give it a go as it is a lot of fun ,very fiddly afterwards but the finish is rewarding.
Don't worry be happy, you have your life, you are alive, you have family, friends who love you, and best of all you have me as a friend
