Lovely work. All these biscornus popping up are really tempting me to try one. Must hold firm to current project though before starting anything new.

You'd be surprised - they're much easier than they look. Give it a go - you know you want to really! I can pretty much guarantee you'll be hooked after the first one! I think biscornu might actually be the stitchers' equivalent to heroin!

But if you just google "biscornu tutorial" you will find many more... I find this is easy to follow - and after the first one you won't need any instructions, anyway  It is very simple.

That's really pretty. Is it used for anything or just decoration - please excuse my ignorance.

Well done!

As for the question what biscornus are for :thinks: :thinks: I think they exist for the same reason that the duck-billed platypus does...

 seriously, you can use them as pincushions, lavender sachets, Christmas tree ornaments, or if you make a VERY BIG ONE, a footstool, but I think they just are :-)

First of all thanks for all the kind words, it was my first and now yes i do want to another one but not just yet.

Charmed, any patten will do as long as its the same size and you have to do 2 but not the same patten ,,you can if you want its up to you.
give it a go as it is a lot of fun ,very fiddly afterwards but the finish is rewarding. :)
