I started finishing each letter, adding the last stitches and backstitch plus the lettering.
The Antelope, the Frog and the Lion (plus the Ladybird) want to say "Hi" to you:

I have 5 animals finished (these and the Giraffe and Mouse), wow!

This is decidedly cute. I can think of so many youngsters who would enjoy having this on the wall. Not to mention you will always have the alphabet to use for cards and etc. :applesauce: :applesauce:

I'm approaching the finish line: the first two rows are finished, and the third one is well on its way:

Animal Alphabet: finished!

Post by silviaciuchi »

:P
I managed to put the last stitch on my Animal alphabet. I worked on it so furiously in these last 2 days, and this morning I woke up at 5 (I'm a morning person, anyway) and worked for 2 and a half intensive hours to finish it. :P

Image

I'm so proud of it now, and after washing and ironing I'll visit a professional mounter for a nice frame (I'm thinking of a red one and my kids agree).
I hope this work has been inspiring to some of you, I really loved stitching it, although some animals have a lot of mixed colours that can get tricky sometimes.
