That is such a great slogan, I'm sure your sister will be very happy when she gets it.

Have you had a chance to try out the Hardanger yet? I always feel like I should learn it being Norwegian and all but it looks so complicated. At my dads there is a drawer full of huge table clothes and runners in hardanger which my nan made. I wish she was still alive, then I could make her teach me ;)

good luck with your project

This slipped by me some...

Yeah, I agree with the PO box. I would rather buy stash too. I thought about one when I was starting out writing to my penpals, but...I would rather buy stuff than spend on a PO box. I don't think you have to worry on this site, so long as you hand it over in a PM. Posting on the threads is never a good idea though. And even if someone does come looking for you (I can't imagine why unless they're on a road trip and are passing by when their car breaks down and their cell phone dies and they need to borrow a phone) we're mostly female so I'm pretty sure your hubby could offer more than enough protection for you. I mean to say, in my experiance with people on here, they're lovely and you have no reason to fear them.

CONGRATS on your 100th post!!!!!

Your WIP is looking amazing! Setting a set posting day for it may be a good idea. I should do that...

And awwww what a sweet hubby!!!

I agree that $110 could buy a lot of sweet stash!

Great work on the cross-stitch.. :)
What a great hubby!

Okay so yet again no stitch last couple of days but i have two days ahead of me to get some stitching done...we'll see how far I get!!

I am so excited...my hubby has taken his certification test and he is like 95% he has passed...and..he was really worried about getting a job...he has been hired at diff hosp than I work but in the same town...its a PRN job..meaning that its just as they need him not full time or part time..but they said he should get hours every week...just they won't offer him any benefits...he is on my ins so this is fine..plus since he does not get the benefits usually they give him a little more $$ plus...it is opposite pay weeks than i am on..so we will always have a paycheck...as of now we are planning on saving his paychecks...since we are used to living on my income alone while he was in school..to add to our house fund that we have been working on!! Finally another step towards our future together!

I have found this forum just too addictive and find myself spending more time on here than I do stitching haha its just great to talk to people who are also into stitching...

as of now i am signing off..so that i can stitch for a while!!

hope this finds you all well and I am planning on posting an update pic on tuesday which will be my new posting day!!

o i downloaded and printed the you melt my heart as I love penguins...but it has 91 floss colors!! so i will have to do that at some other time....when i have more of a floss stash!!!

Okay so my weekend is cut short this week normally I don't go back to work until tomorrow..but a co-worker is having to have her very sick dog put to sleep and asked me to work for her tonight. So of course I am...but I will have friday night off which will then give me a five day weekend yahoo!!!

here is my Tuesday pic update...this is taking me longer than I thought but I am still enjoying it!!

Image

Not at all as pretty as some of your works but I'm starting to feel a little more confident I'm not having to frog with every color change haha!!

Take care all!!

Like I said, I have this on my fridge and it always makes me smile, so I'm really enjoying seeing it brought 'to life' in stitching like this.
