The thread is Crescent Colors. I bought it at my LNS since it is the closest as I could get to match the suggested thread in the chart. It suggested Wildflower - Rainforest thread. My LNS does not stock Wildflower or Waterlilies threads.

Thanks for the info--having a hard time tracking down the wonderful color you are using, the site I've found the thread on lists the caterpillar but it's so different to what you are using. Here's the link

The Safari colours are really great, but I especially love the Tooth Fairy ornament, I love the combination of different stitches.

Wow! The color shown on the link doesn't really show the true color....too much brown and black. maybe there is a link in the Nordic Needles website . What I did was go to my LNS and looked through to see what they had. I had the chart with me and showed it to the owner of the store and he directed me to this caterpillar Crescent Color thread which was the closest to the "Rainforest" suggested in the chart.

 Glad it wasn't just me that thought that too, I so wish I had a local stitching store so I could go in and see the actual product, but I'll keep perusing the sites and hopefully come across something similar soon Thanks :D

Had a look at Caterpillar on various sites, but the ones I found are all dark brown -- are you quite sure they sent you the right one? This looks all sorts of lovely green yellow pink and so on colours, more like a floral meadow! Whether it's the right one or not though, the effect is great :-)

Hanging my Head in Embarrassment !!!!!!!!

Okay, I went back to my sewing table and look again and again for the tag that comes with the thread. All of u are entitled to whip me with 5 lashes with a wet noodle!!!!! Guess what !!!!!

The correct thread that I am using is "Peacock" by Gloriana ....and it is SILK...made in France..... The fabric is Zweigart 32 ct Berry Spritz

Lucky for me that I bought two skein of "Peacock" threads.

Now I know why I had thought it was "Caterpillar"..... that skein of thread is right in front of me while I am stitching so my mind was fixatated on that. The "Caterpillar" thread is for a "Make a Wish" in another cross-stitching forum and the person that I got it for doesn't want it anymore so it is sitting in front of me on the stand. The tag is glaring at me waiting for me to use it. LOL I don't know what I will do except put it in a ziplock bag until I find a chart that suggest that color.

Now I need to go back and make correction on the kind of thread I have been using.

Thanks for the heads up.

:P That is ok I am sure we have all done a similar thing. You can be fixated on one thing and get it mixed up with a different one. I KNOW I have done that.
