The glass of wine is really a spatula to spread the icing on the cake.

Nice work....The snail one is a favourite of mine. I have done one too and put her on a book for a garden notebook and called her Tilly the snail

Great designs, the karate dog is so cute, as is the snail.
And your not alone in thinking wine when seeing the bird Mabel, if I hadn't read the other posts that would have been my guess too

Quick, hide the cooking sherry
.
I will admit to having a bottle of cooking sherry and a bottle of red wine standing next to the hob for adding the occasional glug
Karate dog is such fun and will look great on a towel!

"Make a Wish" by Margaret Sherry from Britain's #1 CrossStitcher , Issue #215 on page 7.
This design has been nudging me to stitch while I was doing rotation....now I can get back to my "Kokopelli Christmas". Will continue during my UFO week if not done by then.

I just finished stitching my grandson's name alphabet onto a bath towel. The bath towel will be wrapped around his birthday present. He is into Builder Bob which is on tv so the motifs are related to construction equipments.
