Time for an update on my two 'daytime' projects:
Chatelaine Swan Lake Mystery - I've already started to fall behind on this one as I've still to finish the gold frame (5 different gold/brown metallics still to come!), and part 2 came out yesterday. The spaces left in the blue area will be filled with beads but I'm leaving those until I've finished the stitching. I've found that I've had to do each colour in the gold section right round to keep consistent the all the 1/4 - 3/4 fractional stitches.

Closeup of the specialty stitches in the first part - tiny rice stitches, algerian eyes and dense rhodes stitches:
Curl Up with A Good Book QS SAL - I'm more hopeful with keeping up with this one as I have two months to do each page/part. Last month I got 48% of the first page done (pretty close to half a page) and I started to fill in some of the small gaps yesterday during lunch at work. However stupid me

managed to leave all my threads at home today so unfortunately there won't be more progress today.
