It sounds as if you just use the lilac to do the first /
then use the pale lilac to do the second \
you then end up with one complete cross, dark underneath, pale on the top.
I hope I am right

yes that sounds right Jilly. Having done one or two Popcorn charts..i seem to remember this is what I had to do.

Hi Angela, I blend with my dimensions kits too, but when I looked at the instructions that Diddle had quoted it was clear the designer uses a different type of two colour technique, I do remember seeing that different way in another magazine. it gives a totally different look than blending, more two layered
I think the difference is that the current pattern we are talking about says to only use one thread when stitching so if you used 2 at the same time it would throw the pattern off.
Just my thought.

i allways thought you used two one of each but it sounds like this one is different and you se first one then the other. will look forward to seeing it done
