I think it is about 1.5hrs each way - it gets very confusing when you go from not having daylight savings time, to daylight savings time and then back to not having it in one day!

I know that feeling of confusion about time Tracy - it is hard on the body too.

Your stitching is coming along and isn't it lovely to get some blocks of colour, it helps to get the feel of getting somewhere.

Its certainly looking great and I love the colours of it.

:applesauce: :applesauce: It looks great! I'm working on this one, too, and I'm not nearly that far along. I ended up gridding it over the weekend so I could get away from all of the confetti on page 1 when I need a break.

They both look great! :applesauce: Nice that you were able to work on the flight. I almost never bring cross stitch with me because it seems like a hassle in-flight, but with all these plans I may have to start!

I seem to be flying through the second page (I'm already past the 50% mark and it's not the end of the month yet!) but as there are big blocks of colour in the page I'm not suprised (and I'm yet to do the candle - my Chatelaine may see some stitching time in April!)

On Saturday I went to the Craft Expo in Brisbane. I was very well behaved and only bought a few items I need to finish a project (a piece of fabric for a border and the hanger to then hang it on) but I also did a few of the classes involving a sewing machine as I am currently saving up to buy one.

Well done Tracy, you have made some interesting things there. The foundation piecing was good and great to see it in fabric. I have done it on cards using different bright papers.

Your stitching is coming along well too and looking very bright and interesting.

Glad that you had a good time at the show - I am looking forward to the one in October as well as next years one in late March. We have the AQC show on here mid April but little of interest to stitchers so may not go and I will miss the Stitches and Craft Show here which is in July. I move up to Brisbane at the end of June.

The one in October is actually the better of the two to go to in my opinion - it seems to be a bigger version of the March one.

 Page 2 complete on Curl Up and we're only halfway through April! I like the fact that you can almost read the titles on the books in the far away picture (the blue and green books are supposed to be Harry Potter)

I've also done my HOMEWORK (!) from the craft show and completed the bag that the foundation piecing was to be stitched onto but I don't have piccies of it (yet!)
