My younger brother (age 25) and I played a lot of video games growing up. I recently got a text message from him saying the following: "Man, I just found a website with pictures of characters from Final Fantasy VI. It really makes me wish I knew how to cross stitch."
Nice, subtle hint.

Here's the cute part. I asked him what he wanted them for --- I offered to put them all on the same piece of fabric and frame it for him. Nope. He was VERY particular about how I am to make these characters (Excuse me? Aren't I the one making them?!


Kind of a strange request, but hey, if it makes the kid happy ... I'll do it.

Look at HOW SMALL the source images are! It's hilarious! I tried finding bigger images online, but this is as big as they come!


Luckily, the images are pixelated, making them easy to cross-stitch. Here are the first two that I've done.
