I have just looked at your work, simply wonderful!
Is Tami two different works, or the same at two levels?

If you ask around on here there a few people who use different programs so they can tell you their experiences with them as well as what the official sites say.

Hehe yeah, I think if you're active on this forum and you put up a wip it's almost imposable not to continue with it, there's so much encouragement and interest that you keep going when usually you'd have abandoned it. It keeps things fun.

Mabel - The only bad thing about the big ones is sometimes they take so long, you can lose motivation. My mom and sister have both been working on large, complicated designs too and they've both put them away for months and months.

Susan - You know, HAED was actually on my list of "licensing people to contact once I improved my skills a little more and created several more original, non-commission pieces." That would be a dream come true! I actually know several of the artists who have their stuff there - nice folks! I had heard somewhere that HAED preferred traditional media to digital, so that was keeping me from contacting them too, but I see some digiworks on there. So maybe by year's end, I'll have some things to submit to them.

Genevieve - Hi there! Really nice to meet you. Retired life must be wonderful. I think it'd be great to have my husband home all the time too, but can't imagine life without the kiddo just yet. ;)

Rose - Yes, you guys are amazing at making people feel welcome! Thank you for the kind words! I need to check out Mabel's designs! Yeah, I feel really fortunate to be able to stay home for a few years.

Serinde - Thank you! :)

Mabel - I think the girls have said you just email them, inquiring about how they take new artists? I love the work they have there. I think after I finish my Seasons, I'd like to order a Sarah Butcher CS. I've been in love with her work for a few years now! I'm leaning toward her Swan Lake piece right now.

Benceagi - Thank you! I love how you guys seem to really encourage each other. I'm certainly no CS master...I know I will learn a lot from ya'll!

Nettie - Thank you! Everyone's been wonderful here!

Jilly - Oh! That's a piece I'm trying to do as inked line art, colored line art (like comic style), a graphite pencil sketch, and a soft-style digital painting. I just wanted to see what it would like 4 different ways.

Angel - Yeah, I'll see what they think of what they use. And ha ha...you guys seem so motivating, my house is going to be filled with these things in every room!

*has just visited your website* Stunning artwork! How long have you been drawing? *yeah boss rang me and I accidentally closed it before reading you bio*

You could wrap them up as presents for people? Then you won't have too much clutter on your walls?

I use pc stitch pro, but I tried converting a three coloured picture into a cart and it couldn't do it. It wanted like 30 shades of grey  But it is good for making charts on from scratch. Although the customer service is apparently atrocious.

Your work is simply amazing! You really have a true talent - I love it!

If HAED do decide to produce your work, I'll be the first person to buy your work! :D

Hello again, Mandy...just viewed your works...they're oh soooo wonderful! My soft pastel oil drawings are simpler though... You have such artful ideas on details...I'm really amazed!

BTW, I have 2 sons... 15 and 12 yrs. old. They are both taller now than me (I'm 5"3").

Take care!

Modesty is all very well, but don't overdo it! I'd probably be putting up banners around the town if I had half your skill and talent :-). Why not show them what you've done so far and ask for any tips or advice they could give you?

PS I know Rose said I design, but that's rather like saying that the local amateur dramatics society performs Shakespeare :-). In other words, I wisely limit myself to card-sized projects for people who know and love me and will appreciate the effort whatever the outcome

Mags - thank you! I want to see yours!

Angel - Been doodling my whole life, but I just recently found some stuff from high school that made me laugh. I'd say it's been in the last 4-ish years that I've gotten more serious about it. Wow, 30? That's a little excessive. lol!

Nic - Thank you so much! I really am loving this place! That's nice of you to say too!

Charmagne - Wow, a house full of boys! I don't know what I'd do if my next one ended up being a boy. I'd love him to pieces, but I'd be completely clueless. I don't know boys at all. And thank you - I'm trying to become more detailed. It's hard!

Mabel - maybe I will! Probably closer to year's end, so that'll give me a chance to create a few more to share. And lol...I just think we're our own worst critics. We always see things we need to improve on!

Sammy - Thank you for the welcome! I've been so cross-stitchy even just in the last day or so already because of you guys! And thank you - those are actually my two very favorite. :)
