Thanks everyone. I'm having a great time visiting so far. We are headed out soon to go to the Titanic exhibit at Union Station. It should be fun.

As for stitching I have started on the coasters for my dad and stepmom. I'm doing them on 28 ct white Monaco cloth 1 over 1. It makes for a very small design but when making a coaster using baseball team logos, it is about the only way to get the level of detail needed. Big thanks to LastingAllure for helping me get the logos charted. :wub: I will post pics later.

Due to a hiccup on starting Sephina, I decided to get around to starting the blackwork lady. Here's the night's progress.

I had several visits from Mr. :anotherfrog: :x But I was able to fix them pretty easily.

The design is meant to look like this:

As per my step-mom's request, the red will only be remaining on the butterfly, lips, bracelet and shoes. This shade of red has been changed to a richer red. The rest of the reds will change to a couple shades of blue that are a bit on the purple side. I intend to replace the french knots with mill hill beads because I kept frogging them so I decided this would be the easiest route to take instead. I will be adding those in after the rest of the piece is finished/after I get them.

I love it, too! It grows so fast and has such a cool effect. I'm eager to get back to work on it, but I need to get some sleep as I am going out with some friends tonight. A local club is having a Heroes Vs. Villains event sponsored by the local comic book store and my two BFFs and I are going to that. Should be loads of fun. :dance:
