Sorry, but I am posting under tears, HAPPY tears. I just love the adoption poem that she made you. She really felt it was needed for you to understand how you came into 2 people's lives with so much love given by them both.
She was very talented. Awesome work.
She would be "honored" knowing you will be finishing her WIP'S, as it will bring love and peace to you while you are stitching, as she will be "looking down" at you seeing you doing her work and enjoying it.
I lost my mom, Christmas night, 1996. There's isn't a day I don't think of her.
She was my friend and confidant. She knew when I just needed a hug or a phone call and she would come right over. I have so many memories of us doing stuff together.
I drove an hour to another county for a job interview, and she would come and we would go out to eat and spend the rest of the day, just chatting. I could call her up in an instance to ask her to go to Wally world, and in a heart beat, she would be ready. Every time there were things at the children's school, she read in the local paper or I would tell her about, she was there to support them.
You were "truly" blessed in having a mother to share a hobby together.
Looking forward in seeing the finished projects as they come "alive" while you are stitching them.
HAPPY STITCHING IN STITCHING LAND.
