Another week that found it hard to find time to stitch, but still made some progress. I finished Day 10 on Tuesday and immediately moved on to Day 11. Today we've been spending a relaxing day in the backyard, listening to the birds. I've been stitching away and I'm hopeful Day 11 can be finished today or tomorrow!
So eager to get this one done! I've totally enjoyed stitching it, but it is time for a finish!
Thanks for looking.

Great Update! This is one of my favorite Christmas designs. I have it in my stash, but until I can get to it, I love watching the updates!

I was so hoping to be posting a finish today... but it is not to be just yet. I did finish the Eleventh Day.
But a complete project finish is still eluding me. I was able to get a pretty good start on the Twelfth Day, so I'm pretty confident I can post a finish next week. Please keep your fingers crossed for me.
Thanks for looking!

It was such a fun piece to stitch, although I was antsy near the end, the truth of the matter is I stitched this up much faster than anything else I've worked on so far. And I have plenty of time to make it into a pillow. Hoping Christmas fabric will start going on sale soon. In the meantime, once it gets a little cooler here, I will practice some more with my sewing machine. It's in an un-airconditioned room, and there is no way I will survive more than 5 minutes in there when it's 85-90 out.
I actually finished it on Wednesday, so I decided to spend the rest of the week on a small for a birthday card next month.
I enjoyed making this and the Happy New Home small I made a few weeks ago so much, that I am going to work on a few more smalls this week. I've decided to start to build a bit of a stash for cards. I only have three more cards with an aperture, but I'm starting to actually feel 'crafty' so maybe I'll just make my own cards out of card stock and construction paper. Or I'll buy more cards...

WELL DONE Desiree a fantastic finish - good luck with the sewing machine.
Love your wee motif too it will make a pretty card. Incidentally I did see Christmas fabric in the shops last week but being mid July they often have a few sales for Christmas in July.
