I managed to get a poppy stitched beside Billy yesterday and I did the backstitch this morning. I always backstitch as I go especially with these designs that have a lot of it! I really love the splash of colour it really POPS! Now I don't know whether to continue with the poppies or go back to Billy!

What a wonderful quandary to be in. Whichever you choose will be a good choice.

I've been ill with the flu for the past week and, even though I had 3 days off work at the weekend, I never managed to stitch as much of Billy as I'd hoped. Anyway, I've almost finished the top part of his wing and once I've done that will do some more of the poppies
Any progress when you are ill with the flu is great progress! Hope you are feeling better!

I’m just getting over the flu myself and am gauging how much energy I have for work by how much I feel like stitching, which isn’t a lot at the moment! Hope you feel fully better very soon.
I love the bright reds in the poppies! This is looking great!!
A lovely update in spite of the illnesses which seem to be about. I too succumbed to a severe bout of tummy flu so maybe the bugs are more active this year all over the globe. Drat it.
In spite of it all Nicole you have done well to get as far as you have in spite of the bug annoyance.
