Oooh,

Your Hardanger will look lovely on that fabric Mabel.

Such pretty colours for the flower.

The weeping willow has to be my favourite, and such beautiful colours.

I can't wait to see them come to life under your needle.

Had to go for a mammogram today, and knowing how long the wait can be at hospitals I took the little Quatrefoil - nice and handbag-sized

. However, they were practically on time so I only had time to fasten on and do two stitches!

Well 2 stitches is a Good Start!!
I hate waiting for procedures, especially mammograms. It's like have delicate parts of the anatomy being shut in a fridge door! not that I've tried shutting those parts in my fridge!!

As I'm waiting for Sarah Homfray to get back to me on a missing video on her website (the one for the crewel work bird) I'm working on a few little stitches, including my, for now, last Quatrefoil This one uses Madeira Lana, a wool/acrylic mix rather thinner than crewel wool. I like the look of it!
These little flowers are great for trying out different threads, and once completed they make very useful cards - win-win

The Wedding Umbrellas/Parasols are fabulous Mabel.

I love the little pearls and the sequins and oh just everything about it, it's unique and they will be be able to tell it's been made with love.

I

that little quatrefoil, it's so effective, not mention perfectly stitched too, oh, ok then I will, it's perfectly stitched as always.

The quatrefoil is lovely. Those variegated threads really give the leaves depth, and the blue/purple veins are wonderful.
