I heard that too, that they don't make the Aristo anymore - I'm glad I've got mine, I really wouldn't be able to do the Certificate without it!
And yes, the stand is their latest floor stand. I was given a sneak preview of it some years ago, when we were picking up the Aristo. The workmanship, as always, is beautiful. It's a shame their communication is so bad
I noticed that both of those use pins to support the separate frame, on all of my frame mounts the frame is on a pivot: Which is better?
I have been having a look at my stocks of materials. I probably have enough teak to make another frame stand but I have just finished dismantling a garden gazebo frame and have some rather useful looking plastic coated steel sections which if made up into (another) frame stand would be lighter than the wood alternative.
