I thought I would post a picture of the project I just recently finished. It's one that I first saw being stitched on here earlier this year, Lizzie Kate's The ABCs of Aging Artfully.

I made this for my friend who's getting married this month. Cutting it a little close with the framing I know, but as I'm doing it myself I should be ok!

Great job. You may have seen me stitch it? It's so nice to stitch. I look forward to seeing it framed, I'm sure your friends will love it!

I've got the children one, I'm going to stitch it for my sister when they get their adopted kids!

Yes Fizzbw, it was you who I first saw stitching it! I just couldn't remember and didn't want to go making wild guesses

Well my friend's wedding was last weekend and I had a lovely time! The ceremony was really beautiful and the reception was lots of fun- just about all I could ask for

. I did just manage to get her present framed in time so I wanted to show the picture of it here:

It was my first attempt at lacing a picture and I think it turned out quite nicely!

She and her husband went off on their honeymoon before opening presents, but I'm sure I'll hear about what they thought once they return
