Blending filiment is evil. I am avoiding my Noah's Ark piece because I know I will have to use it.

Amazing customer service
A few months ago I was browsing Ebay to see if I could find a cross stitch pattern for the chinese symbol Grace. It is my daughters name and I wear it as a symbol on my necklace. There are tons of Peace Love Wisdom but hardly any Grace. I guess she's not an important enough virtue lol Anyways, I cam...

Re: Stashmas 2010 wish list thread
Yikes! I am so late to this thread Dear Stashmas sender, I do not have a huge stash, in fact, I don't have one at all besides my threads so shopping for me will probably take you 30 seconds. You can close your eyes and point at the wall. Chances are, I won't have what you point at LOL Having said th...

A few people have reported it. I think you just click on the Report button at the bottom of the post. That's what I did.

Re: Has anyone seen this?
Jaki, thank you for taking the time to look as well. Sadly, that's not it either. I think it may be an older design because the lady who I emailed said she got it from an old ladies garage sale. The one I saw was smaller, was almost a head on look of the Ark with the ramp coming down on the left sid...

Re: Has anyone seen this?
Thank you so much kirstyc for looking but this is not the one I was looking for. The one I saw was smaller and didn't have a lot of bright colors. They were mostly browns and beiges and light greens from what I remember. Earthy colors I guess would be the best way to describe it. Lisa, thanks for an...

Has anyone seen this?
I was searching through Ebay a while ago and I came across a finished piece that I loved. It was a Noah's Ark with animals, but the animals were all Australian animals. There were koalas and kangaroos and sheep and other animals too. I emailed the seller asking if she still had the pattern so I coul...

Re: Framing, AND bobbins.
I just switched over to bobbins last week and I have to say that I LOVE my bobbins. It took me a while to wind all the colors but I actually enjoyed it. I had my TV on in the background and with the bobbin winder it was hardly a chore. When I need a color for a piece I unwind about 30 cm from my bob...

Re: Photo of a tent stitch
Ok, I'm still confused. Isn't that the same thing as a half cross stitch if you are working over 1? It looks like it to me.

Re: Trylla's 2010 Projects *Update 09/08/10*
I just found this thread and all I can say is WOW. Those butterflies are gorgeous. On your last update, the bottom left hand corner almost looks 3D, like there is actual depth. I also love your live simply piece. I think I may have to try and find it
