I'm midway through a large (for me) Dimensions kit but the thread quality is driving me insane. Everytime i pick this design up to work on it i just get exasperated at the constant knotting and breaking of the thread and put it down again :( Started using thread heaven a couple of months ago, and i ...

Couldn't make head nor tail of waste knots, maybe its too late. I made a start of a bow and left the ends about an inch then sewed over them, if that makes sense. Basically I botched it :roll: lucky there was a couple more half stitches of another colour next to it.

Is knotting a bannable offence ...

As the title says, I've got a single half cross stitch in my design, wondering how on earth I'm supposed to secure it?

Guilty confession to make with regards to my stitching on him this afternoon, I sewed over some previous stitches that I did in the wrong colour rather than frogging, it was 3 x's black over cream, but ...

I know what you mean about cats and Xmas trees, one of ours is the same, seems to have some fascination with knocking the baubles off and watching them being put back on again

I tried the looking at it in the mirror tip, and it really works! Must have been looking at it too closely, I am in a bit of a hurry to get it done after all :oops:

I started this kit a few days ago, it was going to be my mum's xmas present since she fell absolutely in love with it when she saw it in the shop, but she doesn't know i'm stitching it :twisted:
Was enjoying it a lot til it dawned on me that the colours are nothing like the picture ...
