Re: Creative Circle

tknitter - I think I know exactly which one you are talking about. Although I don't know the name of it or not even sure if I have the pattern. But I do have a picture of the one I am thinking you are talking about. I just don't know how to add photos on here. I'll see if I can figure it out and get ...

Re: Lost my stitching bug

I need to get my bug back as well. Especially since it is a Christmas project. I hit the dry spell when I started having a portion that needed to be done on a plastic canvas. Hard on the eyes - need a change. After reading this and that you found your bug again has encouraged me to look for my bug ...

Re: Creative Circle

Creative Circle does seem like a long time ago. It was a fun concept but doesn't seem to be around any more - I can find some kits and such on Ebay. I did finally find the pattern I was looking for.

Mystery colors

I have a project on my hands and was hoping some of you might have some hints to make my time more effective.

I have inherited my mom's threads and I was so pleased to see them threaded in bobbins (?) and in a box. Then I realized my mom never numbered most of the threads

I guess I'll end ...

Re: Frame with or without glass?

I have to admit I am surprised by how many of you use glass. I guess growing up without stitchery being framed with glass I assumed it was more common.

I will admit my mom had stitched something for me a few years ago and I took it in the get framed with glass and the lady discouraged it due to ...

Frame with or without glass?

My mother always framed her stitchery without glass. Everyone else I know seems to frame theirs with glass. What is your preference? Any particular reason why?

Hello from Texas

Hi all,

Stitching is something I started with early on but never really finished much that I started until my son was born. I managed to complete a birth date, info piece and his Christmas stocking. Now four years later I have inherited my mother's unfinished stitchery. Discovering I had lots of ...

Creative Circle

Do any of you remember a group called Creative Circle? I want to say it was in the late 70's to early 90's. I think it was based in California but had the similar concept of Tupperware. You would have Creative Circle parties where you would do small projects and check out the latest stitchery kits ...

Re: In memory

Such great ideas on here.

My situation is a little different. My mother passed away last month and had over 30 unfinished/unframed projects. I am working on finishing some of her projects but had taken pictures of what she completed. I plan to have the photo of what she did on the back of the ...
