Re: 'The Dancing Class' SQ - kimkat_tkl FINISHED!

Tracy, you should be very proud of yourself! Of course, looking at your other pieces of work, I'm not surprised to see the end product on this. Boy, could I use tips from you! For instance, how many hours do you stitch everyday? How did you finish that in a year? And, how did you keep your fabric so ...

Re: Hi from Va :)

Welcome from the West of Scotland! I'm a great one for huge projects, myself, so I'm really interested to see yours when you get your SAL up and running. While you are waiting, why not go and peruse the galleries of the forum stitchers? Lots of inspiration to be seen there.
Sirende, thank ...

Re: Shiny and new

You said it! Books and cross stitching! Every evening I'm torn between which I want to do first! My reading hours have gone down tremendously ever since I started on my big cross stitch project. No regrets though. Out of curiosity of a fellow avid reader - which book are you so hooked on?

Stephen ...

Re: Portable frame

Thank you Corey. I've been thinking about the frame for a few days and decided to drop it. I think I'll stick to my hoop. I got a Q-Snap that I want to try. I figured it's better to keep them portable. With the smaller hoop or Q-Snap, I can fold my work and put it in my fabric bag.

Hello and welcome from Virginia! We have a dog who's such a puppy. She loves to sit at my feet and listen to my audiobooks with me when I stitch.

Re: Hi from Va :)

WOW! Thank you so much everyone! I feel so welcome and so excited at people's interest in seeing my project! I will definitely take pictures and put them up. I'm still working my way around the site. The WIP gallery hasn't opened for me yet. A few more posts and I'll have access to it. I can't wait ...

Re: A Few Questions :-)

How is your project coming? I'm working on one that has 56 blocks. Yeah, it'll take me years to finish. I'm one of those who are very strict about sticking to each block. I finish each completely before moving to the next one. I haven't had any problems with lines between the blocks. After they're ...

Hi from Va :)

I've been a cross stitcher for quite some time. A few months back I started working on a Victor Lesur painting. The finished product will be about 20x30 inches. I work on it almost every day. I love watching it come into shape. It'll take me at least 3 years to finish it. Anyone else working on a ...
