Looks like maybe it's a Beatrix Potter? If you can remember the year or company (ex Janlynn, HAED, Dimensions) I'm certain you could call them, send them your pic and I bet they could help you in a jiffy. If no luck on first try.... Then plan B is to check ebay. Type in key words ...

Ohhhhh, ty for that information... I appreciate it very much. I think I might do a little test of thesesuggestions and see which may look best with my particular project. I esp lie the idea of pearl cotton, maybe it will have alovely sheen to it ;). Ty again for your time! Linda

Is Krenik the best floss? I have never seen it, but observe references to it here on the boards all the time. Should I change? How does it compare to DMC ...

Good evening ladies! Hope everone is well and happily stitching :D Wondering if I could request some assistance. I have been working on Stoney Creek's Peace of Christmas Collection (Ice Skaes on Fence, "Peace").

My dilemma is with the skate blades portion. In the 2008 pattern it calls for DMC ...

Thank you for taking the time to reply...stretching seems to be a common thread and I plan on doing just that! I too, sink into myself though I didn't realize it until just a few days ago. Funny how we become oblivious when we're stitching :lol:

Here in NH we received 28+ inches of snow, Boston + 24, Portland = 31 and the clear winner was New Haven, CT with 40! Waaahooooo....tons of stitching time :) :) :)
