time flies by when you are busy, cannot believe it is 9th month already. Where has this year gone? Children go back to school next week so life will be easier now I don't have GC to care for. Enjoy it of course, but it gets tiring towards the end of longest school holiday.

i know I've been AWOL but life's been bit hectic lately. Hope to get back to stitching soon.

Understand what you are saying Lyudmila. I was taught by my mother with a hoop except for tablecloths, tray clothes & table runners, did those by holding cloth in my hand. Mum's stitches were always very neat.

One of my grandmothers did simple sewing but her mother was a seamstress in Victorian ...

Lyudmila, amazing you do all your stitching without any frames. I only sew small projects by holding fabric in my hand otherwise I use a frame.
