Still stitching and nothing much has changed for me, but looking forward to catching up on all the news

I'm working on a social housing programme in East London at the moment, and two of our properties are 'on hold' until a cockroach infestation is sorted out.

I don't go near those properties....

Hope it's easing up a little bit, and you can start stitching again.

How do all you lovelies keep cool in this horrible weather? I'm stuck in an office with air con at the mo, and have air con in the car, but it's going to be hot and sticky tonight, and any tips on keeping cool would be very much appreciated.

The best I can come up with is a water sprayer by the bed ...

I used to spend too much time watching telly, so I'm a bit more choosy these days.

It shouldn't be lower than 4 - and if you're going hypo a lot (the docs said to me you couldn't go hypo on tablets, but I've often seen levels well below 4) that will make you ...

Aaah, it is pot luck with ebay... my best mate bought a Zephyr 1100 off ebay - K plate, and it was mint, and very cheap - she got a really good bargain there! Even had the original toolkit under the seat.

Aw he's gorgeous. I love horses, but I'm a little bit scared of them (fell off one when I was small!). I'd still be brave and look after him if he was near me.

Rose, I'm about to finish a cat in some flowers with butterflies... it's taken me aaaages! Lots of back stitching, half stitching - bearing in mind I'm quite new to this cross stitching lark, it's been a real challenge! I started it last August... :roll ...
