Re: What's with the cup cakes?

I'm doing this cupcake one at the moment. It was just so cute & colourful I wanted to do it and then my friend who loves baking moved house so I decided to make it as a house warming gift. Here's how it will look and my progress to date. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i353/Pinguxxx/print%20...

Re: Fabric prices - increase?

Depends where you buy it........I've just started using Tandem Cottage again (they have an Ebay arm too) and their prices for an FQ of Belfast start at £9.00 for the basic colours. I always shop around as that is quite a difference from Sew and So! Think I'll have a look at them then thanks, you o...

Fabric prices - increase?

Have fabric prices increased (in the UK) significantly across all suppliers has anyone noticed? Or could it just be where I purchased mine (I won't name!)

I bought a piece of Belfast Linen 19x27 inches 9 months ago for £9.50 and now it's £11.95!!!! An increase of 25% !

I think about 10" too. But there'll be a bit of fabric showing around the design so I want the fabric to look nice too.

Fabric for a cushion

I'm thinking of stitching Skitzzzz's Heart and making it into a cushion. Any tips on which fabric would be the best to do it on? I was thinking linen but thought I'd ask the experts first before buying anything.

I couldn't find where I'd posted progress of these so easier to do a new thread.
Just back from the framers and I'm really pleased with them.

No I haven't. Not sure I'd be confident enough. It's going on display in the hallway so I want I to look good!
